Sustainable Shopping, Without the Compromise: EcoLife

As lead designer on EcoLife, I helped shape the first comprehensive platform for sustainable shopping — a place for people who want to buy responsibly without knowing exactly which brand to look for. The challenge was making ethical commerce feel effortless: no greenwashing, no clutter, just a curated, credible space. I designed for speed, clarity, and trust, with intuitive filters, high-speed search, and clean layouts that let the products and their values speak for themselves. Working with the development team from day one, I guided the build on a headless architecture with Algolia search and Dato CMS, alongside a custom AI scraper that keeps listings fresh — automating over 2,300 actions and adding 2,500+ products across ten brands. The result is a fast, future-ready platform that proves sustainability doesn't have to feel like a compromise.
